In Hokkaido, the number of water leakage accidents is extremely high compared to other regions. For this reason, this demonstration experiment will be conducted in Hokkaido. In the demonstration experiment, participants will be recruited from among the owners of detached houses and condominiums who have contracted fire insurance, and smart sensors will be lent free of charge to be installed in places where there is concern about water leakage. When an accident occurs, the smart sensor will notify the participant's smartphone, so it can detect water leakage early. This will enable early detection of water leakage accidents and prevent the spread of damage.
Use of the data obtained from the demonstration in new products
The company also aims to develop new products and services that make use of the data obtained from this demonstration experiment.
