On March 1st, Lynx International announced the SIM-free Android smartphone "Gemini PDA" equipped with a QWERTY Japanese printing keyboard. It will be released on March 9th. The price is open, and the reference price is 77,760 yen (tax included).
The Gemini PDA comes standard with a QWERTY membrane keyboard next to the smartphone with a 5.99-inch display. When using it as a smartphone, open it from the center like a book, and when not using it, fold it in the center. If you use the keyboard, open it like a PC. The keyboard part is a non-removable specification. Even in the folded state, it is possible to answer the call from the outer button.
The key pitch is 14mm, which enables touch typing. The keyboard layout is in English, but Japanese kana is printed on the key top. The display is 5.99 inches with multi-touch support, and the screen resolution is 2,160 x 1,080 dots. The CPU adopted MediaTek's "Helio X27 (MT6797X)".
